Tooth Whitening
Tooth whitening is a bleaching process that reverses discolorations of enamel. The system uses a mild solution retained in a custom fitted appliance that slips over your teeth.
Tooth discoloration is caused by many factors, principally aging, consumption of staining substances like coffee and cigarettes, trauma, tetracycline staining, excessive fluoride and old restorations. A dentist can only determine the effectiveness of tooth whitening on your teeth after a complete oral examination and diagnosis.
- Tooth whitening requires just a few simple steps:
Your dentist takes impressions of your teeth that will form the model for a custom appliance that holds the whitening fluid while remaining virtually undetectable.
- You are fitted with your appliance during your second visit. It may be necessary for you to have your teeth cleaned prior to starting the teeth whitening process. You will be taught how to administer the solution and a specific wearing schedule will be determined for you.
- To obtain maximum esthetic results, you must return to the office for subsequent monitoring visits throughout treatment.

Tooth Sealing Sealants provide an effective form of dental disease prevention in adults and children. In this quick and easy procedure, a liquid sealant is painted into the pits and fissures, bonding to the tooth, preventing bacteria and food from accumulating. Sealants can last for many years, and can be easily repaired if they are dislodged or damaged by abrasive foods like ice cubes or sticky candy. No shots are needed for this procedure and your final product is a smile filled with smooth, easy to clean, teeth.
Crowns When you smile into a mirror, do you see silver? Do your silver crowns and fillings stand out? Does the metal in your fillings cause discomfort when eating or drinking hot liquids? You can dramatically change the look and feel of your dental work by changing to white crowns and metal free white fillings.

Veneers
Porcelain and Direct Composite Veneers not only brighten your smile, but also fill in unsightly gaps and chips to create a picture perfect smile.

This reversible procedure generally requires no tooth reduction.
Porcelain Veneers require minimal tooth reduction – much less than a crown.
