Meet Dr. Larry Van Gordon

Dr. Van Gordon is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of dentistry in Portland Oregon. Since opening his dental practice in Aloha in 1970, Dr. Van Gordon's emphasis has been on providing the best quality dental care available for each individual patient.

You can feel confident that you are receiving the best care available because we take your smile personally. Dr. Van Gordon has been an active force behind youth sports in our community all of his professional life. He has coached and sponsored countless teams over a period of more than thirty years.

Dr. Van Gordon and his wife, Elizabeth have five children and eleven grandchildren. They spend their free time with their families both here and at the Oregon coast where Dr. Van Gordon spends his weekends. When given the chance, a little game of golf might come into the picture

In February 1997, Dr. Van Gordon and his staff ventured to Brazil and supplied, as well as trained, personnel to do basic dental treatment in the Amazon River Basin. They were part of an organization called P.A.Z. (Project Amazon) where they did basic dental treatment for natives of the Amazon River Basin. They took supplies with them and also trained local personel to do basic treatment for people in the region. More recently, in July 2005, Dr. Van Gordon and his staff went on a mission trip to Surabaya, Indonesia. Organized by COM, City of Ministries, dental care was provided to over 500 residents in need of dental treatment. Together with Dr. Michael Van Gordon, a son practicing dentistry in St. Helens, Oregon and another son, Dr. Brock Van Gordon of Wilsonville, Oregon. Plans are continuing to support and offer care to both the Amazon River Basin and Indonesia on an annual basis. This caring attitude has had a far reaching affect on the people living in these areas, as well as families in our own community.

We understand the financial impact of cosmetic and unexpected dental treatment. As a courtesy to you, we will accept and bill all dental insurance claims for you. We also offer extended payment plans through Care Credit and Dental Fee Plan for services above and beyond what your insurance covers. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diner's club are also accepted.
